Large Scotrail dark red/pink rail ballast - fine grade.

1 large tub of 350g (or two small tubs of the same weight) of light weight ballast in dark red colour, fine grade for N gauge and some OO gauge applications. The material is a natural product which is not as hard as rock ballast and not so hard on plastic loco gears should it get where it's not wanted. Apply with a paint brush, a little at a time, wet with water from a spray bottle and apply dilute PVA glue from the side until white in appearance. Use a dropper pipette for applying the PVA glue.
